Hi! My name is Freya! I?m an 11 year old female Pug. When I was surrendered to Pug Rescue of Florida, I was eaten up by fleas something fierce! I had a really deep scratch in my left ear that has now healed and no hair all around my neck from my collar being too tight for too long. I was also underweight due to mal-nourishment. My Foster Mom started me on an excellent food, is giving me liquid vitamins, joint supplements, and some nice groomings! I am slowly starting to gain weight back, and I?m healing from the flea bites. But you know what? I am extremely sweet and easy-going! I may be a senior Pug but I still have lots of energy, enjoy playing with toys and can sometimes jump on the couch without help! But, I always wait for permission to come up. When you pet me, I lean my entire body against you! I always want every part of me touching you! I am such a cuddle pug! I LOVE going for walks! As a matter of fact, as soon as I hear the slightest jingle of the leash, I leap up and am ready for the great outdoors. I get along great with other dogs and even cats - although I do greet them rather excitedly which can be intimidating to the cats. I love children, car rides and have never used the house as a bathroom. I will gladly snuggle you in bed all night long and would be a wonderful addition to any person/family. Will you give me my forever home that I have been waiting for? I am currently located in Sarasota. My adoption fee is only $100 which helps Rescue with some of my medical bills.
