HONEY is an owner surrender. She is 12 going on 5 and weighs 22 lbs. She had been in the same home her whole life. She was loved and cared for her but recent changes in her owners life made it difficult for them to continue to care for her. So she came into rescue. She is amazingly spry for her age. She jumps on and off the couch; loves walks and car rides, runs around like a puppy and dances on her hind legs at meal time. She recently had her teeth cleaned and had several tumors removed from her belly and shoulder. She came through the surgery beautifully but the bad news is the tumors were mass cell cancer, the good news is they were only grade 2 and all but one of them had clean margins which gives her a good prognosis to live a quality life. Now Honey is looking for a forever home that will love her for all of her days, so she never has to move again. Honey?s foster mom says she does alright with other quiet, calm dogs but she would do best in an only dog home because she is what we call the ?fun police?. She?s not aggressive to other dogs but if they start running around and barking she goes after them to make them behave? she?s a bit of a momma dog and some dogs don?t like that too much so the fight starts. She is currently fostered with another passive older pug and does fine. She does fine with little children and is 100% potty trained too??.no accidents for this girl. She prefers to sleep in your bed but she is very agreeable as far as that goes. She?s a sweetheart and a clown and will bring joy to some lucky person?s home.
